Commencement of Test Operation for a Grid-Scale Battery Energy Storage System in Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Ahead of Commercial Operation

(Head Office: Yurihonjo City, Akita Prefecture; Representative Director: Takayuki Ono), DIGITAL GRID ASSET MANAGEMENT Corporation (Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chief Executive Officer: Takehisa Shimada), a subsidiary of DIGITAL GRID Corporation (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President, Chief Executive Officer: Yusuke Toyoda; listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market, securities code: 350A), PHOTON CAPITAL LLC (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Managing Partner: Yuko Mizuno), and PHOTON JAPAN LLC (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Executive Directors: Reijiro Okawa and Yuko Mizuno) hereby announce that the companies have jointly established Gotemba High-Voltage Storage Power Plant LLC (“SPC”). 
The SPC, a special-purpose company, plans to begin commercial operation of a grid-scale battery energy storage system in Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture, in November 2025, and its test operation began today. 
DIGITAL GRID Corporation will be responsible for aggregation services for the grid-connected storage facility.
