On March 1, 2024, PHOTON Sustainable PV Investment Limited Partnership (LPS), operated by PHOTON CAPITAL LLC ( “PHOTON”, located in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, headed by Managing Partner Yuko Mizuno), has started to operate the newly built Tajimi PV Power Plant ( “this power plant” ) , which is based on a virtual PPA (“the PPA”) with JTEKT Corporation ( “JTEKT,” located in Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture, headed by President Kazuhiro Sato).
The operation of this power plant is based on the PPA (Virtual PPA), which was announced by PHOTON and JTEKT in a press release dated November 2, 2023. JTEKT will receive the environmental value of the additional renewable energy electricity generated from this power plant as non-FIT non-fossil certificates.
